     The HPBC series of 13 mm aluminum alloy optical plates developed by OMTOOLS is applicable for compact optical systems. The black anodic oxidation for the entire mounting base minimizes the impact on the optical system by reducing surface reflection. This product is designed with M6 threaded through holes which forms a 25x25 mm grid, so components can be mounted onto any side. The optical breadboards are provided with four or five M6 counter bores. The breadboards with a length larger than 300 mm have five M6 counter bores, and four of them are located 25 mm from edge at four corners, while the other is located in the center. When a large load is distributed for the breadboard center, a mounting base can be installed by using the counter bore at the center to guarantee the surface rigidity of the breadboards and reduce deformation. By using the M6 counter bores, vibration isolation rubber bases or other mounting bases such as optical tables, other breadboards, posts or supports can be mounted onto this series of breadboards.
