The FBCU series feedback motion controllers are multi-axis network motion controllers for position feedback developed by OMTOOLS for high-precision and ultra-high-precision motion control systems. The built-in ARM chip and the embedded operating system are used to manage the controller’s communication and motion, while providing general development interfaces, so as to facilitate users to conduct the secondary development as required. The FPGA technology is applied to realize the drive control of underlying motion and the collection and processing of feedback signals. Therefore, the close-loop control of high-precision motion systems can be realized as long as users develop appropriate close-loop control software on PCs. Currently, the company’s standard products are available for the motion control of 2-axis, 4-axis, and 6-axis systems. They are compatible with popular motors such as two-phase stepping motors, Oriental Motor motors, and Panasonic Servo Motors. The product can meet the control requirement of plane and space trajectories, including linear interpolation, circular interpolation, and spiral interpolation.
