     Retaining ring wrenches developed by OMTOOLS are used to mount and adjust retaining rings in lens tubes, lens mounts and other opto-mechanical elements. The wrenches are able to adjust the retaining ring safely and easily without damaging the optical elements. The wrenches are designed with a rhombic knurled handle of aluminium and a hollow inside, which allows beams to pass through during adjustment. Compared to aluminium flange, stainless steel flange reduces abrasion while providing a small tolerance. The flange is uncoated, which minimizes dust or other particles that contaminate the lens surface. The wrenches are marked with scales to facilitate users to adjust the mounting depth of optical elements. The stainless steel drive end connects to the SM1 wrench handle through a magnet, delivering flexible assembly. The SM1 wrench is provided with a universal handle, and the drive end is replaceable.
