     The thin film linear polarizers are designed with a three-layer structure. Specifically, two films of absorptive polarizers are protected by glass substrates fabricated from N-BK7. The side where the two substrates are in contact with the air is coated with the AR coating of the corresponding working band. The thin film linear polarizers can generate polarized beams with specific polarization orientations. To eliminate the adverse effect of mounting stress on the performance of polarizers, thin film linear polarizers are mounted in mechanical retaining rings with an outer diameter of a half inch, one inch, and two inches, respectively.
