     The F4H-A series of fixed stainless steel optics mounts developed by OMTOOLS is provided with a black surface which is resulted from new technologies. This design can minimize the impact on the optical system by lowering surface reflection, and delivers a small coefficient of thermal expansion that multiplies the surface strength. The optics mounts are applicable for the mounting of Ø12.7 mm or Ø25.4 mm optical elements. The optics mounting groove face is provided with a notch, which enlarges the clear aperture. This design is specially applicable for the mounting of 45° incident angle beamsplitters and mirrors. Optical elements are secured with flexible spring plates and set screws. Thus, optical elements are firmly mounted while not being secured permanently. It is recommended to use a torque wrench to avoid optical deformation that is caused by overtightening optical elements. Both F4H25A and F4H12A mounts are applicable for the mounting of optical elements with a minimum thickness of 2 mm. Specifically, for F4H25A, the clear aperture is 23 mm, and the distance from the bottom of the mount to the center of the optical element is 19 mm; for F4H12A, the clear aperture is 11.5 mm, and the distance from the bottom of the mount to the center of the optical element is 12.9 mm. All the fixed mounts for beamsplitters have one M4 counter bore for the mounting of posts. For custom mounting, Ø2 mm alignment holes are equipped on both sides of the counter bore to set the precise position and mounting angle. We highly recommend to mount stainless steel posts on this mount, because our mounts, especially the PSN1E series, is also designed with Ø2 mm alignment holes for posts.
