       OMTOOLS provides standard uncoated high-precision calcium fluoride (CaF2) windows. By virtue of low absorption and high damage threshold of CaF2, these windows are suitable for laser-related applications in free space. Moreover, CaF2 also has low dispersion (Abbe number 95) and low fluorescence characteristics and has good waterproof, chemical resistance, and heat resistance. However, when used in high humidity, CaF2 will degrade if the temperature exceeds 600 °C. CaF2 is easy to deliquesce in high humidity and temperature, so it is suggested to keep the ambient humidity at 25% and the temperature at 20 °C. The windows must be wiped up and placed in a dry cabinet (humidity 25%, temperature 20 °C) after use. This product is slightly irritating. It is recommended that operators wear dust masks and rubber gloves to avoid direct contact with the product, and wash hands after operation.
