The Ø1.5 inch post mounting clamps are used to clamp Ø38 mm mechanical or optical elements, or as the adapters of Ø38 mm posts. These clamps are equipped with a 35.5 mm-long quick-release handle, and rotating the handle can fix the clamps on the posts. The internal ratchet drive mechanism keeps the handle from driving the bolt when the handle returns to the original position. The adapter is connected to a 62.5 mm×62.5 mm mounting plate at the fore. A total of 24 M4 threaded holes, 21 M6 threaded holes and 4 M6 counter bores are arranged on the mounting plate, forming a cross grid. A hole pitch of 12.5 mm are left between the same type of threaded holes. These holes are used to fix a variety of optomechanical bases and lens holders, and their usage is similar to breadboards. Adapters are supported by optical posts, and can be used as the clamps for optomechanical or optical elements.
