      The free-space filter wheels provided by OMTOOLS are designed with two wheels, and each wheel is provided with 6 ports, totaling 12 ports. The ports are designed with SM1 external threads, and Ø1 inch (Ø25 mm) optical elements with the maximum thickness of 3.6 mm (0.14 inch) can be mounted onto the ports with the included GYKH25A retaining rings. Each port is provided with one retaining ring. Thicker optical elements can be mounted onto the Ø1 inch lens tubes before mounting onto the filter wheel. Filters can be mounted and replaced fast and easily. The accurate mechanical baffle separator allows accurate alignment, positioning and clamping, thus enhancing the positioning repeatability. Two M6 straight grooves are designed on the bottom plate, which facilitates firm connection with optical tables and breadboards. The modular design enables to easily replace the filter wheel and mount it via the bases or posts.
